The NSW Food Authority advises:
This recall has been updated to include Woolworths ACT and remove Woolworths VIC.
Synergy Produce Pty Ltd is conducting a recall of the products listed below. The products have been available for sale at Woolworths (NSW and ACT), IGA (NSW), and other independent retailers (NSW).
Product details:
- Southern Highland Organic Eggs 300g (6 pack)
- Southern Highland Organic Eggs 700g (12 pack)
- Best before dates: All dates up to and including 09/05/2019
Problem: The recall is due to potential microbial (Salmonella Enteritidis) contamination.
Food safety hazard: Food products contaminated with Salmonella Enteritidis may cause illness if consumed.
What to do: Consumers should not eat this product. Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice and should return the products to the place of purchase for a full refund.
