Call for nominations: NSW Vulnerable Persons Food Safety Scheme Consultative Committee

The NSW Food Authority is seeking nominations from representatives in the vulnerable persons sector who provide food service and hold a current food service to vulnerable persons licence with the Food Authority, for a position to serve on the NSW Vulnerable Persons Food Safety Scheme Consultative Committee for a three-year term.   

The Food Authority is interested in considering nominees with the following key attributes:

  • demonstrated leadership and capacity to represent the Vulnerable Person sector
  • effective communicator
  • good understanding of the Vulnerable Persons Food Safety Scheme and working knowledge of current food safety issues in the sector
  • ability to participate in at least two (2) Committee meetings per year
  • good compliance record with the NSW Food Authority, if relevant.

The Food Authority highlights the NSW government’s advocacy in relation to nomination of First Nation’s people and women for appointment to significant bodies such as the Committee.  

Committee meetings will be held twice a year online via Microsoft Teams.
