Mars Australia Pty Ltd is conducting a recall of MasterFoods Creamy Chicken & Mushroom Cooking Sauce 490g. This recall only applies to those products that do not declare the below allergen. The product has been available for sale at Coles in NSW, QLD, VIC, SA, WA, TAS, and ACT. The product was also available for sale at Woolworths nationally, and independent grocers including IGA in NSW, QLD, VIC, SA, WA and NT.
Date markings: Best Before: 17/11/2025, 22/12/2025, 16/02/2026, 20/04/2026 and 15/06/2026.
Problem: The recall is due to the presence of an undeclared allergen (egg).
Food safety hazard: Any consumers who have an egg allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if the product is consumed.
What to do: Consumers who have an egg allergy or intolerance should not consume this product. Consumers should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund. Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.
