It’s National Science Week from August 16 – 24 and the NSW Food Authority is keen to share the role science plays in food safety and protecting people from food poisoning.

Science informs all of the work the Food Authority does, check out our Science section of the website to see how it strengthens the safety and integrity of the food chain, from paddock to plate.

Be sure to check back in with us on Thursday 21 August 2014 from 1pm – 2pm for your chance to ask our chief scientist Dr Lisa Szabo all your curly questions of food safety. She’ll be online for a live Q&A session.
