The NSW Food Authority advises two coconut milk drinks are being recalled due to the undeclared presence of dairy in the drinks.

Consumers with an allergy or intolerance to dairy milk should take care not to consume recalled products, and return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.

As many people with dairy allergies choose to consume coconut milk or juice drinks, the NSW Food Authority recommends consumers with allergies exercise caution with coconut milk and juice drinks and to check the label for the allergens present before drinking. If the label is unclear, consumers are urged to contact the NSW Food Authority helpline on 1300 552 406 to report any product they see in the marketplace.

Due to the number of recalls of this nature recently, the NSW Food Authority is advising importers of their obligations and conducting testing on similar products in the market to ensure that allergens are clearly labelled, as per food labelling requirements.
