The NSW Food Authority advises:
Inghams Enterprises Pty Ltd is conducting a recall of Sweet Chilli Chicken Kiev.
The recall only applies to product purchased from the deli counter in Woolworths stores in NSW, QLD, VIC, WA and Metro stores in VIC only on 19, 20 and 21 May 2019.
Product details:
- Sweet Chilli Chicken Kiev, 150g per Kiev, wrapped in paper and a ticket applied in store (see image)
- Date markings: Purchased from the deli counter only on 19, 20 and 21 of May 2019. Product purchased outside of these dates is not subject to the recall. Product purchased from the chiller case or freezer is not subject to the recall.
Problem: The recall is due to potential foreign material contamination (blue rubber)
Food safety hazard: The presence of foreign material presents a potential choking hazard.
Country of origin: Australia
What to do: Consumers who have purchased this product from the deli counter in Woolworths stores in NSW, QLD, VIC, WA and Metro stores in VIC only on 19, 20 or 21 May 2019 should return the product to the place of purchase for a full cash refund.
