UPDATE: This recall has been updated to include an additional allergen for all products - soy.
Markwell Foods is conducting a recall of Shore Mariner Seafood Sticks 1kg. The product has been available for sale at Woolworth stores nationally.
Product details:
- Shore Mariner Seafood Sticks 1kg
- All best before dates up to and including JUN 2022
(excluding product already re-labelled to include egg and soy declaration)
Problem: The recall is due to an undeclared allergen (egg and soy).
Food safety hazard: Consumers who have an egg or soy allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if the product is consumed.
Country of origin: Thailand
What to do: Consumers who have an egg or soy allergy or intolerance should not consume this product and should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
