Update 28 November 2024: This recall has been cancelled based on advice from Y Y INT'L TRADING PTY LTD in consultation with the NSW Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD).
This recall related to the presence of an undeclared allergen (sulphites) in Gold Plum Chinkiang Vinegar 550ml. Further testing has found that sulphites were not detected.
As there are no longer any concerns about the presence of undeclared sulphites allergens with this product, this recall has been cancelled and the previous recall advice about this product (below) should be disregarded.

Y Y INT’L TRADING PTY LTD is conducting a recall of Gold Plum Chinkiang Vinegar 550ml. The product has been available for sale at Asian Groceries in NSW.
Date marking: Best Before 30/06/2027
Problem: The recall is due to the presence of an undeclared allergen (sulphites).
Food safety hazard: Any consumers who have a sulphites allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if the product is consumed.
What to do: Consumers who have a sulphites allergy or intolerance should not consume this product. Customers should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund. Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.
