The NSW Food Authority advises:
Mingfa Trading Co P/L is conducting a recall of Crisp Cake (Chinese Cake), due to the presence of undeclared allergens (walnut and cashew).
The recalled product has been available for sale at Tongli Supermarkets (NSW only) and Asian supermarkets in NSW, ACT, QLD, SA, WA.
Product details & date markings:
- Crisp Cake (Chinese Cake), 640g, cardboard box
- Production Date: 10/04/2019
Problem: The recall is due to the presence of undeclared allergens (walnut and cashew).
Food safety hazard: This is a food safety issue and anyone concerned about their health should seek medical advice. Any consumers who have a walnut or cashew allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if the product is consumed.
Country of origin: China
What to do: Consumers who have an allergy or intolerance to walnuts or cashews should not consume this product and should return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
