Gippsland Jersey Pty Ltd is conducting a recall of:

• Unhomogenised Jersey Milk 750ml – sold at independent health food stores in NSW and independent retailers including Richie's IGA Paynesville in VIC
• Unhomogenised Jersey Milk 2L – sold at an independent health food store in Cooma NSW.

Date markings: Use By 13/08/24

Problem: The recall is due to microbial (Listeria monocytogenes) contamination.

Food safety hazard: Listeria monocytogenes may cause severe illness in pregnant women, unborn babies, neonates, the elderly, and immunocompromised individuals. The general population can also become ill from consuming food contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

What to do: Consumers should not consume these products. Consumers should return the products to the place of purchase for a full refund. Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.
