The NSW Food Authority advises:
Washed Rind Pty Ltd is conducting a recall of Washed Mould Cheeses. The products have been available for sale at various stores in NSW, QLD, VIC, SA and WA.
Product details:
- St Simeon, 200g, Plastic container, Best Before: 18/02/19, 04/03/19, 26/03/19, 09/04/19, 23/04/19, 10/05/19, 17/05/19
- Le Coulommiers, 400g, Wrapped in cheese paper/plastic and set in ½ wooden box, Best Before: 23/04/19, 17/05/19
- Coulommiers Truffe, 750g, Wrapped in cheesepaper/plastic and set in ½ wooden box, Best Before: 19/02/19, 26/03/19, 09/04/19, 23/04/19, 10/05/19, 17/05/19
- Brie de Nangis, 1kg, Wrapped in cheese paper/plastic and set in ½ wooden box, Best Before: 18/02/19, 18/03/19, 04/03/19, 26/03/19
Problem: The recall is due to potential microbial Listeria monocytogenes contamination.
Food safety hazard: Listeria may cause illness in pregnant women and their unborn babies, the elderly and people with low immune systems.
What to do: Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice and should return the products to the place of purchase for a full refund.
