Other analysts
Analysis of samples may sometimes be provided by analysts or laboratories that are not ‘approved’ under the Food Act 2003.
This includes sampling and analyses by food businesses to meet requirements of food safety schemes. Requirements can be found in the relevant industry manual.
The Food Authority encourages businesses to choose laboratories accredited by NATA, the National Association of Testing Authorities.
